About the Band

Ataea is an ensemble of professional musicians that offer something different and refreshing; an act capable of providing the perfect balance of music and song for any occasion. Their repertoire is limitless, ranging from Scottish country dance to popular music from all eras. Flexible and adaptable, they are suitable for all types of venues and events.

Ataea was literally born in the early hours of the new millennium. The concept was simple: professional musicians collaborate to provide high-quality music for all manner of functions. The unique advantages: almost infinite adaptability and extremely good value for money.

In our hectic 21st century world Ataea eliminate the age-old question of "What kind of band do we want for our wedding / anniversary / birthday?" They can play anything: ceilidh, pop, easy listening, heavy metal ... check out their samples! This means, of course, that you can have whatever music you want for your function. Leave the hard work to them. After all, why have one type of band when you can have them all in one?

Where are they based?

The band are based in Glasgow but regularly play throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
