Groove Sector are a wedding and function band based in Central Scotland. The band are made up of 8 professional musicians with a vast experience and play their instruments to the highest standard. They are primarily a soul band, but play a number of up to date songs in a soul style and their horn section gives them a great soul vibe.
The musicians in Groove Sector have had musical training, from Bachelors degrees in Music, Applied Music and Electronics with Music. The band are made up of 2 Vocals (Male and Female), Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drums.
They have a 2 piece horn section of Trumpet and Tenor Saxophone. They try to keep the party going without taking long breaks between songs to keep the dancefloor as full as possible.
The band are always smartly dressed throughout the night, from setting up to playing and then to stripping the equipment down. They have invested in a quality PA system which delivers a great sound which is balanced to give them a superior sound quality rather than overpowering volume. Their rig is small and you would be surprised how little space it takes up and they also carry a portable lighting rig, which tops off the on stage appearance of the band.
Where are they based?
The band are based in Central Scotland and play all across Scotland and the north east of England regularly.
