About

A different kind of string quartet! The Celli Quartet is a stylish and original group performing for events, four girls with four cellos, with not a violin in sight. This highly trained professional cello quartet is an unusual ensemble combining their professional classical background with contemporary arrangements to create a striking and original sound. Both the visual and audio impact are fantastic.

A constantly expanding repertoire and the diverse possibilities with four cellos make the group versatile and popular with a wide audience. Their fresh approach to quartet playing is a great alternative to the traditional string quartet, with a full, rich sound that people love.

The quartet brings expertise, a professional attitude, originality and style to a wide range of events including corporate events, weddings, drinks receptions, media events and exhibitions. For smaller events the players can also be hired as a trio, duo or solo.

Companies they have played for include: BT, Robinsons, Cancer Research, The Royal Society, The Metropolitan Police, The Royal Observatory, The Ambassador of Yeoman, The British Museum, The Natural History Museum, The V&A, Ball de Sterne, Somerset House, Cabot Hall and The Savoy.

Where are they based?

The quartet is based in London and frequently performs across London and the surrounding counties, the rest of the UK and Europe.
