With a passion for soul and jazz, ShadowLanz are a new high tech duo of drums, vocals and professionally recorded backing tracks with PA.
Drummer Russ and singer Nanette have worked with Gloria Gaynor, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, Cliff Richard, Dana, Cannon and Ball, Petula Clarke, Sasha Distel, Grace Kennedy, Helen Shapiro, Leo Sayer and Roy Castle.
Over the years they have worked as musicians at top venues like the Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's, the London Palladium, the Cafe Royale, the Royal Festival Hall, the Hilton and Grosvenor Park Lane, Bailey's, the Hammersmith Palais and the Empire Leicester Square, having also appeared on many TV programmes like Top Of the Pops in the UK, and other music shows in Holland, Germany and South Africa not to mention BBC Radio 1 and 2 sessions. Their song writing credits include Tina Turner, Gloria Gaynor and Helen Shapiro.
As session musicians they have recorded in Abbey Road, Real World, the hit factory, RG Jones and Olympic studios.
Where are they based?
Based in Morecambe but play regularly throughout the rest of the UK.
