About

Want to hire a Premiere Professional Ceilidh Band for London, Brighton and the South?

...The Band's speciality is Scottish Ceilidh (Gay Gordon's, Dashing White Sargeant, Eightsome Reels etc) but they also offer the standard English/Irish Ceilidh dances and provide an evening's entertainment that is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned ceilidh dancers!

From Weddings, to Student events and Private Parties these full-time, accomplished musicians provide a level of sophistication to your event that you won't get with other bands.

The five piece line up of Caller/Fiddle, Fiddle, Guitar/Keys, Bass and Drums combines the dynamic styles of a traditional ceilidh band with the modern, funky rhythm section of a function band.

The band's monthly sold-out public ceilidhs at Cecil Sharp House in London are a testament to the universal appeal of this young, exciting band.

The band can also provide a number of optional extras, the most popular being their after ceilidh disco - cheaper than booking a separate DJ...

Alternatively, they can be booked as another format for live background music before your ceilidh - for this they can provide a solo musician option including piper, flautist, pianist and more; classical quartet or jazz trio, celtic duos including fiddle+guitar / flute+piano / fiddle+fiddle etc...

Past happy clients include; Sting (twice!), BBC 2 - Great British Menu, BBC Three, Channel 4 - Gok Wan's Fashion Fix, Orange, Vodafone, RAF, Gareth Malone (BBC2's "The Choir"), National Geographic Society, Hermes, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music, MOD, NHS, CBI, ICI, Pearson Education, Herbert Smith LLP, Royal Canin, Serco, South Bank Centre, Al Ain Hilton - United Arab Emirates, Hammersmith Irish Centre and many more...

Technical bit:

They use the highest quality P.A.(QSC/HK/Allen&Heath/Neumann) with fully PAT test certificates and public liability insurance and have their own LED lighting rig.

Where are they based?

The band are based in London/Sussex and frequently play across the South of England and the midlands.
