Born over 3 years ago as a two piece horn section, Extra Love have grown within the last year to a 10 piece band performing at some of the UK's best loved music events. Extra Love band members all have a holistic professional background, sessioning with some of the best and most highly acclaimed musicians. Their experience spans many major festivals worldwide, major studio session work and extensive function work playing for corporate events and weddings.
The diversity of Extra Love’s music reflects the diversity of all the musical styles that the band members work within. Referencing much rhythm’n’blues, soul, funk, latin and jazz styles, Extra Love will play the deepest darkest dub spirituals, the bassiest grooves and the most uplifting roots reggae world music.
The band will perform catchy original material that never fails to get people dancing but are also able to perform a number of reggae classics as well as soul/motown classics in an original Extra Love reggae style at your request.
Where are they based?
Extra Love are based in South Manchester. They are available and regularly gig at venues and festivals across the UK.
