The Pimptones are rolling juggernaut of funk and soul featuring brassy horns, a funky rhythm section and some amazing guest singers.
They're signed to Italian record label Record Kicks and released the album "Midnight Feast of Jazz" worldwide in 2011.
One of the tracks from the album hit mainstream radio in Europe when it was featured on the soundtrack for "Lezioni di Cioccolato 2".
Composer/arranger Nick Pride is responsible for the bulk of the music, with a few famous covers thrown in too.
Far from the norm, The Pimptones are ideal for a party or event with a twist.
Please note The Pimptones do not come with a PA system - this would have to be hired separately.
Where are they based?
The Pimptones have appeared at some of the country's finest funk and soul venues including London's famous 100 Club, Band on The Wall in Manchester, The Jazz Bar in Edinburgh, The Yardbird in Birmingham and The Sage, Gateshead.
