The Shrinking Violets are a Harrogate based 6-piece professional Wedding, Party and Function band, available for hire in Yorkshire, including Harrogate, Leeds, York and Bradford, as well as further afield. Our clients have described The Shrinking Violets as a “highly entertaining”, “high energy” and as a “dancing shoes required” band.
The band play classic pop, disco, funk and soul from the 50s to modern pop and are constantly praised for their “fantastic guest interaction”. Regularly re-booked, every event is meticulously prepared and rehearsed for.
To save you the cost of an additional disco/DJ they will play music through the PA system during breaks and afterwards.
Band members use the highest quality professional backline equipment, and use a Pro sound system and lighting rig and the prices are very competitive.
The band mainly play weddings but also cater for party hire, corporate events, Christmas and Birthday parties and other functions such as Charity Balls.
Where are they based?
The band are based in Harrogate and frequently play across all of Yorkshire and the North of England.
