About

The Modest are a powerful and exciting three-piece band that perform mod classics, soul and Northern soul. Although they are a relatively new act, their first gig was in November 2010 supporting Bruce Foxton From The Jam at Derby Assembly Rooms, they have gone from strength to strength and are gaining an excellent reputation as a band.

All three band member have a wealth of experience including tours of the UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA and in addition to this have individually appeared on many album releases both in Europe and US. They have also performed on TV including Ant and Dec and Noels House Party.

The Modest are often praised for their brilliant choice of material and are becoming known for playing those great tracks you thought you had forgotten. If you want a break from the usual and love to dance, choose The Modest!

Where are they based?

The band are based in the East Midlands and regularly gig locally and further-afield. They frequently play in the West Midlands, South Yorkshire, Lancashire and Staffordshire. They are, however, willing to travel to any locality.
