About
The core of Seton Shoals comprises three musicians that have been playing together for six years. The band covers a broad range of music from sweet soul to lively 70's disco. The emphasis is on strong lead vocals, tight grooves and smooth backing arrangements with a live horn section that can be included by arrangement. The Shoals specialise in authentic soul and classic disco and due to the strength of their arranging skills, can provide additional songs to order for special occasions.
A typical night with Seton Shoals begins with a smooth soul set to get everyone in the mood. Then after a short break, the band take the stage for the second set of the night which is a more up-tempo funk/disco set to get the party really moving! If a DJ is booked for the night, as well as the band, then having the DJ play a short set before the band come back on has proved very popular.
