About this Act

Hip Operation are a highly acclaimed wedding and function band playing classic rock and pop hits from the 60’s to the present day. The standard performing band is a six piece, but whenever possible, they will appear as the full eight piece band, at no extra charge.

Hip Operation have earned a huge reputation since they were formed in early 1994, meeting up with singer Bev Wright, one of the most versatile vocalists in the country. Their well travelled rhythm section has been playing together for several decades.

The frontline of the eight piece band has a three vocal, male and female line-up, providing some diverse and powerful harmonies, and their varying material ranges from rock and pop, to funk and soul.

Hip Operation has played all the major hotels both in Scotland and the North of England, but are also available for small intimate parties. The band will provide a great evening's entertainment, and when required, some optional ceilidh numbers which always get the guests going !
