About this Act

During the brit pop era listening to artists such as Oasis and Blur Chris, a south-paw, first picked up a right handed guitar and began to learn upside down. Encouraged through his fathers love for music, he was introduced from a very early age to artists such as The Beatles, The Kinks, Rolling Stones and many more.

His interest in music continued throughout his education forming school bands, it was during this time that he began writing his own material.

By the age of 28 Chris had been part of the music scene with many different bands having had the most success with The Good Die Young.

The Good Die Young were formed in 2004 with Chris on lead vocals, guitar and piano. The band gained media interest within the first year and backed with management they toured extensively supporting established acts. The band released an EP and had their music video directed by Adam Fair, whose past work has involved clients such as The Cribs.

In 2008 the band went their separate ways having lost their bass player to pursue his acting career, along with the lead guitarist who set up his own clothing brand.

Chris continued to perform as a solo artist and released his first solo album, ‘99c Dreams’ on Friday 7th May 2010.

During March 2011 Chris performed various nights in the Ski resort Montgenèvre at La Graal playing cover songs for Apres Ski.

More recently Chris re formed with guitarist Paul Young to create the project Now finally alive that is currenty being used for various TV and Film productions.

Chris is available to perform solo acoustic for conferences, weddings, parties and other functions playing cover songs or original material. He can also arrange play lists for DJ following his sets.
