Established 6 years ago, Celtic knot is one of Merseyside's most popular ceilidh bands. The band consists of 6 musicians and a caller, who talks the crowd through the dances. The line-up consists of whistle/flute, concertina, bouzouki, double bass and bodhran. The band can also provide a sound engineer and full P.A. system, which is ideal for the bigger venues.
The band play a range of Irish, scottish and English tunes, and call English country dances.
The band can provide Ceilidhs for weddings and special occasions, as well as large corporate events. Recent corporate events include: the National Green Party Conference, the National Association for Family Therapy Conference, and corproate hospitality for Liverpool Capital of Culture 2008.
Where are they based?
The band are based in Merseyside and but will play across the North West of England.
