About

Playing classic rock, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, Motown, Scottish and Celtic rock, Beggars Opera were formed five years ago, by the four main members of the band, which between them have some ninety years experience in the business, as band and session players with international artistes. They have worked in some of the best venues in the country as well as appearing on Recordings, TV shows and Royal Command Performances.

They have worked tirelessly to perfect their unique sound. The band now specialize in Wedding and Corporate functions and are normally booked as a four piece band playing a hand picked selection of music certain to get any event or party off with a swing. The band can be also be booked as a six piece band (incorporating an extra guitar/vocalist and keyboar4d player/vocalist ) for special events / theme shows and a ten piece band ( incorporating four brass players as part of our package shows (details on request) also as an optional extra they can also provide a Disco, or a Piper.
