Freak Music are always on the lookout for new talent...
The vast majority of our bookings are for private events, parties & weddings and go to cover bands or entertainers so if you're a top notch act don't hesitate to get in touch.
Classical musicians for wedding ceremonies are always popular, as are
traditional folk, Ceilidh and barn dance bands for good old-fashioned knees up...
We also have an ever expanding set of big corporate clients who love acts that can put on a big show. Anything goes for this type of event as long as it has a wow factor. We have growing interest in all things cabaret, from burlesque acts to comedy performers and magicians too.
Although not our standard booking we do have a small set of club DJs and have recently had festival bookings for bands who play original material but, that said, we're not looking for any original Indie or Rock bands at this stage as the enquiries are just not there for those guys.
There is a thriving Jazz and World Music section which we're keen to add to. That goes for the great set of Tribute acts we've been developing too...
Get in touch and we'll see if we think we can find a place for you in our portfolio...
There are no signup fees and no exclusivity agreements. We are a completely transparent agency that works to help acts - not tie them down or inhibit them.
We will simply provide an additional channel of enquiries from your local area (& the rest of the UK if you are an act that is prepared to travel).
Our commission structure is straight forward - You'll be given access to our quote calculator for each booking enquiry, you'll enter the figure you want to clear and the calculator will show you
what the client will need to be charged in order to include that figure plus our small booking fee and VAT.
As part of Freak Music's booking conditions, all acts agree to make sure the amount a client will pay via Freak Music is no greater than they might find via any other agent or by approaching you direct.
You don't need to worry about working this out for each quote as the cost to the client, and therefore your price-match figure, is calculated and displayed as you update your performance and travel fees within each quote option.
