Ric Herrington has been a performing musician for over thirty years in the US, Mexico, Canada, and the UK. In the States, Ric has written, recorded, and toured with Tranzfer, Fair-Weather Fables and Currency, along with ten years in gospel music.

In 1999, Ric moved his family to Scotland and began performing festivals, galas, schools, restaurants and private functions as The Magical Singing Chef. He has been seen from the Isle of Wight to the Shetlands with a unique blend of comedy, magic and music.

In 2007, Ric began the Cash Back Johnny Cash Tribute at the prompting of a local entertainment agent. The show has gone from strength to strength with many shows selling out. Through MySpace, Cash Back has been recognized and acknowledged by members of Johnny Cash's family.

Cash Back's repertoire of Johnny Cash songs is now up to 52, although the top 12 to 18 hits are generally used in most shows. Also available is a second set 1x45 or 1x60 of Friends of Cash featuring Elvis, Kenny Rodgers, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and others. He also has a set of Neil Diamond songs available and ready to perform.

In 2000, Ric Herrington was featured with an original song on The Big Breakfast with Lisa Tarbuck and Johnny Vaughn.
