Funky Buddha's standard lineup is a 7 piece outfit, including Lead Female Vocals, Keys, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Saxophone and Trumpet. The band also offer other various lineup's starting from a small but punchy 6 piece band right through to an outstanding 10 piece band including a 3 piece horn section and 2 backing singers! Whatever the lineup, Funky Buddha will impress any audience.

Their versatile setlist includes songs by James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Chic Ray Charles and Tower of Power as well some timeless Disco numbers. Funky Buddha is guaranteed to provide an outstanding sound for any occasion.

Funky Buddha also offer amazing Jazz/Live Lounge performances perfect for drinks receptions, over dinner entertainment and more. Providing a warm up for the main party set, the Jazz/Live Lounge set includes chilled out versions of your favourite tracks from Van Morrison, Adele, Kings Of Leon, Frank Sinatra, Norah Jones and more! The band can also provide a solo pianist or guitarist to provide background music (please see booking options for more details).

Funky Buddha is the ultimate band when it comes to versatility and only uses musicians who have years of experience performing on some of the worlds greatest stages from the West End to Broadway via Earls Court and Wembley Stadium. Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU and let you know how much we loved having you as our wedding band. You really were outstanding and absolutely everyone loved you (people have asked for contact details so hopefully will be in contact with you soon!) from our first dance right through your music selection between sets and through to the very end. You even got people who never dance up on the dance floor-very impressive. We have go to say that I think your singer broke a few hearts throughout the evening including Emma's brother (one of the ushers who decided he was completely in love with her by the end of the evening!! Just wanted to say a really big thank you for playing our wedding on the 28th May 2010 at Rowton Castle. You were absolutely fantastic and really made our evening.

I had envisaged the evening to be one big party and that's exactly what we got thanks to you, from my dad playing air guitar to my cousin's 2 year old son having a bop at the front, everyone just wanted to dance!

The music was amazing, especially liked the mash ups that were thrown in. All the guests have raved ever since about how great you were (my brother-in-law asked on the day if I had booked the band specifically with him in mind he loved it that much)! Your professionalism was outstanding and the fact that you had to drive back to Brighton from Shrewsbury at 1:00am is a testament to that - not a journey I was in any fit state to make!

I have booked them for two parties and on both occasions they were intrinsic in making the events highly enjoyable occasions. They were efficient and professional when dealing with the booking, and exuberant and fun in the performance. Their choice of repertoire was great and they very quickly had everyone dancing. I very much hope to use them again in the future but am aware I will have to book them very far in advance.
