There’s been a veritable flurry of new UK wedding acts register this week, Christmas rush?

Nouveau Lounge
Nouveau Lounge

Nouveau Lounge (main pic) are a classy Vintage Pop Band performing their own unique spins of modern pop songs from the last 30 years in a vintage style. Enjoy their toe-tapping music to swing, Charleston, Cocktail Lounge Bar, jive and do-wop and 60s Motown. They provide the perfect background music for drinks receptions and corporate events where you are looking for something completely unique. The band consist of female vocals, piano , double bass and small jazz drum kit. They have versatile combo which enables them to perform indoor and/or outdoors. If you are looking for a acoustic style band, their small drum kit can be exchanged for a cajon (a drum like box). Perhaps you would like the band to mingle with guests during a drink reception, this too can be achieved with a versatile line-up of vocals, guitar and snare.

Dennis Westerberg and Micaela Petersson (bottom) have worked successfully in the industry for over a decade. They have a huge setlist, big sound, great banter and confidence they will not disappoint as attested by private clients, agencies and corporations. The duo’s sound is made up of guitars, harmonicas and a high quality stomp box to enhance the bass – as well as bongos, tambourine and various other percussion to make the sound as big (or as small) as needed. But instruments aside, their real strength lies in their luscious harmonies. As their act Westerburgh & Micaela they are a high-energy acoustic folk/country/blues/pop duo. Originally from Sweden, they have crafted their product for audiences in both the UK and Australia

Ceilidh Knights
Ceilidh Knights

since 2012 whilst playing a range of venues and residencies. They are currently based in Manchester, actively gigging in Northern England and Scotland.

Ceilidh Knights (left) are a Ceilidh and cover band who can play background music before the dancing starts then demonstrate every dance if required with further instructions called during the dances. The caller is a very experienced Scots ceilidh dancer who has been running Ceilidhs since the 80’s in Scotland, who then moved to the North East of England and calls while playing keyboards. The keyboards sound includes high quality electronic accordion, piano and bass sounds which are mixed live from the keyboard while playing to adjust for different acoustics of the venue to be strong and clear for dancing. The violin takes the lead and the drums providing good lively rhythms to keep the dancers on the floor all night.
