Paying tribute to the tribute wedding bands

Not the most orthodox of wedding band options but we’re noticing a few UK tribute acts are getting booked up recently, here’s some recent additions to the roster.

Andy Jones (main pic) is a Cheshire based Elvis tribute act who has been performing up and down the UK since 2012. Prior to that he performed in a number of duos and bands for about 20 years and as such has experience in front of audiences of all sizes. The repertoire is sizeable, taking in all eras of the King’s career from Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock and songs from the famous 1968 comeback special such as Trouble and he has a variety of jumpsuits and costumes for on stage and also a casual outfit for meet and greet events.

Luke does Bublé (left)is a superb young tribute to Canadian crooner with a authentic looks well as the near perfect vocal stylings of the original entertainer.  Performing solo with backing tracks, he performs songs from all Michael’s albums such as Come Fly With Me, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Haven’t Met You Yet.

Live Forever (below right) are the UK’s premier Oasis cover band delivering their ‘Sounds of Oasis‘ show to audiences far and wide. Ever popular at football and rugby clubs as well as clubs and corporate events, this is a band that will deliver a sing along night of pure Oasis as you rock your way through countless hits from epics such as Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall to outright stompers such as Supersonic, Cigarettes and Alcohol and Live Forever. All led by a frontman born and bred in the Gallaghers hometown of Burnage, Manchester and musicians that will bring you a night that has led to countless hangovers and lost voices!

Jump back in time and listen to the dazzling sounds of Detroit with the Dazzlettes! (bottom) These three ladies know how to wow you with their stunning vocals, fabulous harmonies, glamorous costumes and energetic choreography. You will be tapping your toes and Dancing in the street as they bring you hit after hit of Motown classics. From The Supremes to Martha Reeves. The Four Tops to the Temptations.
