Two Not One

Two Not One (above) are a professional jazz and swing duo providing music for functions, weddings and parties across the UK and abroad. Hugh and Jack are both professional musicians that have trained at some of the UK’s most prestigious music conservatoires, The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Leeds College of Music. They both perform regularly across the UK and between them have performed at venues and festivals such as the Henley Festival, Snape Proms and the London Jazz Festival. Both the band line-up and repertoire are flexible to accommodate each client’s needs. Although they play as a duo as standard, the band can also increase up to a quartet that consists of piano, bass and any combination of saxophone, guitar or drums as requested.

The Sparrows of Paris (right) are a collective that can offer to play in a duo, trio, quartet or quintet, they play the sounds of authentic vintage French jazz-musette of the 1930s and 40s and the vintage French chansons of the 1920s to 50s.  Headed by Parisian chanteuse Carolyn Saint-Pé, The Sparrows of Paris continue the tradition of the bals musette, the popular social dances of the 1930s and 40s which is now have a revival amongst Francophone and Francophiles around the world.  Carolyn and her musicians bring you back in space and time to Paris of the beginning of the 20th century with the chansons of Edith Piaf, Frehel, Charles Trenet, Mistinguett, Arletty and many more. Laura Bataceli (bottom) is a professional Jazz & Blues singer available to perform at different types of events, such as Birthday Parties, Weddings or Corporate functions. She is able to perform as a Piano and Vocals duo, which is ideal for drinks receptions or background for corporate events, or as part of a trio consisting of Piano, Vocals and Bass. Laura is an internationally acclaimed vocalist who sold over 20,000 Albums around Europe and has won two industry awards for her musical prowess. Music was always a big part of her life. Her father was a successful pianist and her mother was an incredible singer so was surrounded and influenced by their talents and techniques.
