Classical music is always a popular option for weddings whether it be for the ceremony, signing of the register or for longer sets during the drinks reception. Here are a few of our more unorthodox classical music acts for weddings in Scotland.

The Arunda wind trio (above) delivers high quality live music for all occasions. This versatile and enthusiastic trio enjoys bringing music to a wide variety of audiences, events and venues. Whether it is a formal recital, elegant background music at a corporate event or that extra sparkle on a special day, Arunda will tailor their programme so that each performance is unique. Classically trained graduates of The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, The Royal College of Music London and The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Région de Marseille, Arunda contains a wealth of performing experience and members have played in numerous venues throughout the UK such as The Royal Albert Hall, Festival Hall and The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, as well as in all the major performing venues in Scotland including the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and The Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Members have also performed extensively in Europe, as far afield as Mauritius and for notable dignitaries such as Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and the Princess Napoleon.

Banyuls Saxophone Quartet is a professional ensemble based in Edinburgh, specialized in entertaining a diverse range of events since 2007. This unique and sophisticated ensemble will add style and distinction to your special day with a blanket of music being as elegant and refined as a String Quartet, but also as stylish and sophisticated as a Jazz trio. Moreover, the versatile saxophones will be able to play most delicately at a small gathering, but also to provide a penetrating sound that will fill any outdoor reception. They offer great range of music that appeals to all ages. Their large repertoire includes distinguished classical music along with a large selection of lighter music including TV and film themes, light jazz, traditional and swing numbers; including the most popular tunes to entertain everybody. They can also make arrangements of your special favorites to your specification.
