As opposed to Wednesday’s Edinburgh-centric offering, this week’s new acts are 100% England based wedding and function acts. Seven years ago, we took on someone with the specific task of pushing the represented acts into south of the border, we told him “maybe three or four months work”. He’s still here….

The Brightsides (above) are a highly professional function band, guaranteed to get your party started! Their mixture of current pop songs mixed with classic hits ensures that there are songs for everyone to enjoy. The band are high energy from start to finish, and their trademark dual vocalists are excellent at keeping the audience engaged and having fun. All six musicians are highly experienced, having individually performed all over the world.

Hello Gyro (right) are a 4 piece function band formed in the heart of the Peak District. Something to make your special day/event that little bit more special!

They cover a range of covers in their jazz club style and perform up-tempo standards, ballads and bossa-novas. They take their musical cues from acts such as Billie Holiday, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington, talented musicians in their own right, they are also able to improvise original and unique jazz sax tunes.
