Born and raised in the small town of Keith in the North East of Scotland, Amy Paparansky (left) began playing the piano at the age of 8 followed by the fiddle at the age of 12 and sang from the age of 5. Amy has been Classically trained in all three instruments throughout her school years and at University. Shortly after taking up the fiddle in High School Amy found a love for folk music and has toured Canada, America and Germany singing and playing this style of music. Amy’s passion for folk music has flourished and her singing songwriting has seen her perform on BBC Scotland’s Radio show ‘Take the Floor’ and the ‘BBC Proms in the Park‘ to name but a few.

Jayne Carmichael-Norrie (right) is a coloratura mezzo-soprano and has been the Director of the Forte Music School since she grad­u­ated with a 2:1 (Hons) in Music Per­for­mance as a Soprano choral scholar in 2009. Her opera performances has included work with Dorset Opera, Upload Opera, Co-opera in London and Voicearc in Edinburgh. Future engagements include working with Voicearc in their production of ‘Cosi fan tutte’ and ‘Peter Grimes’ with Co-opera. Jayne is a volunteer with the Sistema Scotland project in Aberdeen and runs a local Italian Language Group.

Elaine Gray (below) is a soprano based in Glasgow who trained classically for several years before diversifying into many other genres. She enjoys perfoming many different styles of music and she also sings in several different languages. Taking inspiration from artists such as Sarah Brightman, Katherine Jenkins, Celtic Woman and Barbra Streisand she is sure to perform something to suit most tastes and will also work closely with clients to ensure they get the performance they are hoping for.
