About
Ultimate Soul Capacity was formed originally in 2009 by Sam Houghton, Chris Colbran and guitarist Rob York at Leeds College of Music. After a lot of work playing for weddings and a high profile gig supporting Leeds funk extraordinaires The Haggis Horns, the band decided to take a break to focus their time on their individual projects and college work.
After nearly two years off the scene the band returned bigger and better than ever. Now, with a choice of three singers (or all three!) and a full live horn section the group is complete. They play all over the country to audiences of hundreds delivering that sweet soul and naughty funk designed to get you out of your chair.
Each member of the band is a Leeds College of Music graduate, meaning we can provide you with the perfect jazz extension package to your purchase. Whether it's Latin, Jazz Funk or specific tunes you have fallen in love with in the past, the members of USC can help with a variety of ensembles.
Where are they based?
The band is based in Leeds and regularly plays across Yorkshire and the North of England on the whole.
