The band are based in Edinburgh where they regularly gig. They have previously played all over Scotland.

Standard Set Times

  • For a function or wedding the standard amount of playing time is 3 hours between 8:00-12:00.
  • For bar/club gigs we usually play 2 x 45 min sets.

Blowing the usual clichéd old-school wedding bands clean out of the water, The Number 9 are a young funked up group with a fresh sound, playing classics with style and new tunes with soul.

An energetic and distinctly stylish 5 piece made up of guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocals, the band is made up of highly experienced and professional musicians who have each been providing entertainment for the past decade. Jon with his funk and blues vocal complements Nikki with her soulful disco huskiness, providing beautiful harmonies and spine tingling arrangements of classic and new tunes across all genres.
