About this Act

The Emperors are a Newcastle based all round rock, pop and soul act available for hire fro wedding and corporate events. Among the thousands of UK and international gigs they have played are weddings for major sporting stars, awards ceremonies post conference parties, charity balls and key corporate events such as the Coronation Street 25th Anniversary and the Emmerdale live 40th anniversary TV episode. They have appeared on the same bill as many household names in the entertainment world.

The bands annual schedule also involves many corporate events and private parties playing a variety of music including soul and up to date chart songs, this takes in acts as diverse as

They have most recently worked with Ant and Dec on a celebration for the Donnelly family and were invited to play at Alan Shearer's 40th birthday party as the feature act receiving fabulous acolades on The Chris Moyles show and other national radio stations and have recently appeared a number of times for the Jordanian Royal Family as their first choice for family celebrations.

No Sheet Music! There is nothing worse than watching a band of disconnected hired-in musicians who spend the whole gig staring into a music stand rather than performing, . This is absolutely NOT the case with The Emperors. All of the music is memorised by the band members, so that the band can perform for you.

The band is very well dressed, they continue to entertain with all the moves and great communication from the stage and it' not unknown for band members even join you on the dance floor whilst playing to really get the party going!
