The Deltatones are a highly professional, talented and reliable duo. They offer a wide variety of music ranging from the 50s right up to the latest chart releases including hits from some of your favourite artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, U2, The Killers, The Stereophonics, The Commodores, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding and many more.
The Deltatones consist of a Vocalist/Guitarist and Guitarist/Vocalist/Pianist. They use the highest quality custom produced backing tracks to deliver a fantastic sound and great performance every show. They are the perfect choice for weddings, corporate events, hotel bookings or any other event you wish to make memorable.
A strong vocalist with excellent stage presence and tasteful guitar playing, Steve has been a professional performing musician since 1996. He sang in his first professional soul band when he was just 16 years old and has been gigging ever since.
He has been involved with a wide variety of successful musical groups over the years performing live with various bands ranging from soul to blues. Steve has also recorded several solo albums of self penned original material, 'What If We Had No Moon? (2009)' dedicated to his newborn son Harvey being his latest studio offering.
From 2000-2002 he toured the UK with original blues rock band 'Templeton Peck' promoting their own self penned albums. Since then Steve has gigged all over the UK and has played several shows over in the USA at venues from New York City to Rockland, Maine.
He is also a founder member of the popular alternative comedy group 'The Skin Imps' which since forming in 2001 has developed a loyal cult following due to their colourful stage shows.
Rob has been a professional performing musician for over 10 years. Previously a member of Pete Wylie's band 'The Mighty Wah', Rob has performed at venues all over the UK and Europe including a performance in front of 30,000 Liverpool FC fans at the Attaturk stadium in Istanbul for the memorable 2005 European cup final.
Whilst performing with 'The Mighty Wah', Rob also recorded tracks for a Warner Brothers Liverpool FC movie featuring performances from Pete Wylie and Peter Hooton (The Farm).
Throughout his musical career he has shared stages with legends such as Paul McCartney, Gerry Marsden, Ian McCulloch, Steve Harley, Ralph McTell and many more....
More recently Rob has been gigging as part of a popular function band playing at Weddings, Corporate parties including Cambridge University's Christmas party.
Where are they based?
The duo are based in Liverpool, Merseyside. They regularly perform across the UK specifically in the North West of England but are happy to travel across the UK and Europe.
