About
Simple Minded are a Simple Minds tribute band based in Scotland, and were formed late 2008. The musicians have a vast experience of playing live and a wealthy knowledge of all things Simple Minds.
The singer is currently performing with "Ex Simple Minds" featuring Derek Forbes and Brian McGee. The keyboard player previously played alongside Simple Minds drummer Mel Gaynor in "Mel Gaynor & Stratus" as well as touring with Thomas Lang. The drummer is a former member of Cantychiels, The Big Dish, Middle of the Road and John Martyn band. The guitarist brings his experience from creating and playing in renowned tribute act Sample Minds.
Simple Minded's aim is to reproduce the sound and energy of Simple Minds New Gold Dream and Sparkle in the Rain tours. As well as this the bands song pool covers the whole Simple Minds catalogue from albums Life in a Day to Graffiti Soul. Expect the hits and many more.
Original Simple Minds members Derek Forbes and Brian Mcgee have been spotted at Simple Minded's gigs and have even joined the band on stage to perform Simple Minds classics Changeling and Chelsea Girl.

Where are they based?
The band are based the east side of Scotland, and play all over Scotland. The band will also play across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
