The band are based in Edinburgh but regularly play across Scotland and the rest of the UK
Injecting Glamour into any event, Ruby Summers sings in a sequin studded sensual serenade of Jazzy standards, sultry blues and some popular contemporary songs to suit each event. Influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, Marilyn Monroe, Dinah Washington, and Jessica Rabbit.
She celebrates these iconic women from film and stage with a touch of theatrical decadence and a fabulous wardrobe, and her warmth and coquettishness brings back to life the romantic nostalgia of that bygone era of old Hollywood.
Ruby has been involved in projects in theatre and fairly recently comedy, as a quarter finalist in the 'Laughing Horse' competition. This year she gained new fans in her first solo show at the Edinburgh festival with Absolute Cabaret in the Jazz Bar and Espionage Night Club on a 17 day run. She was booked in that first week by The Scottish museum to perform for 300 V.I.P's.
Suitable for many events, including corporate, parties, wedding dinner cabaret, cocktail lounge, celebrity party, divorce party and even gentleman's bachelor party (strictly singing of course!).
