Ricky is based on the south coast of England and available to play along the coast up up in to London and all over the south east and west.
Ricky Rojas is a Chilean born, Australian raised singer singer whose passion for performing has seen him rise to international success in productions all over the world from London to New York.
Ricky is able to perform a solo acoustic set, or a number of different sets accompanied by piano or tracks and his repertoire takes in such varied acts as Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Tony Bennet and more.
His first professional production was “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” where he played the role of Ritchie Valens. Having learnt the guitar at the age 14, it wasn’t until he took the role of Ritchie Valens that he began to appreciate the influence of Rock ‘n’ Roll/blues and Country music had on contemporary music. Having played various parts in productions in the West End (Fame, Buddy, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat) and Broadway NY (Burn The Floor), Ricky is no stranger to the limelight and big productions, but this only ever adds to his performance when it’s just him and his guitar. “I love performing to a big audience with a big band behind you, but there is something honest and almost spiritual when it’s just you and your instrument....most of the time I prefer it.
