Mariachi music is the unique and vibrant sound of traditional Mexican music, guaranteed, with its exciting blend of live musicians and colourful costumes to bring the passion of Mexico and the authentic Mexican ‘fiesta’ feel to your special occasion.
Mariachi El Mexicano's bandleader Pablo Aguilar was born in the neighbourhood of the ‘Plaza de Garibaldi’ – famous worldwide as the home of the Mariachis in the heart of Mexico City, Pablo grew up living and breathing the wonderful and exciting music of the Mariachis known as ‘Ranchera’ music so the music and culture of Mexico is very much in the blood.
When first arriving in Europe many years ago, Pablo found himself working as a musician in various cities in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Holland, before finally arriving in the UK, proudly bringing the passion and vitality of Mexican music with him in his voice and forming Mariachi El Mexicano in 2001.
This highly talented and flexible band can be booked as anything from a Solo act up to an 8 piece and can also be booked with dancers.
Where are they based?
The band are based in London but are willing to travel.
