The band are based in Scotland's central belt and happy to travel for events.

  • Two 1 hour sets with 1 break in between.

About this Act

Last Tango in Memphis a 6 piece band comprising 2 vocalists one male, Paul, who also plays harmonica, and one female. Fiona, whose background is in jazz. Bass player is Jim Rennie, who is also the band leader and has a lifetime of experience as a musician from playing various instruments in big bands to his current band. Ian Aitken is our keyboards player. Ian comes from a jazzy background and also plays saxophone in addition to the keys. Murray McLachlan is our drummer. Murray has loads of experience, and is technically excellent. Lead guitarist is Kazik who has his own style, and has played professionally.

We have gradually come together as a group, and have been together since last autumn. We play a blend of Blues and Rhythm & Blues with a Jazz twist, and also a touch of swing.
