Hot Rock Pilgrims are London / Brighton based and frequently play across the South East, South West and Midlands areas and are happy to travel.
Hot Rock Pilgrims are a group of some of the finest young bluegrass and old time musicians the UK has to offer. Since their formation in 2014 they have toured throughout the British Isles bringing their uniquely infectious sound, that combines powerful vocal harmonies with instrumental prowess, to newly gathered fans along the way. Together they promise to take you on a pilgrimage of appalachian music and it's descendants!
The band is comprised of: Hubert Murray (vocals & guitar), Dan Edwards (vocals & banjo), Bruno Pichler (dobro), Kieran Towers (fiddle) and Sam Rose (double bass). Accomplished musicians in their own right and they share a similar bluegrass upbringing but have musical influences that stretch far and wide. With an emphasis on re-imagining traditional music, Hot Rock Pilgrims also write original material and have a strong back catalogue of instrumentals, bluegrass songs and aren't strangers to the odd cover. Combined, they deliver a hard-driving, exciting performance that can both silence audiences and bring them to their feet.
