Hi Funky Buddha Band,

We loved the Funky Buddhas the first time we saw them perform and knew they were exactly what we wanted for our wedding reception. They got the party atmosphere going from the start. We requested a particular song for our first dance, which they performed beautifully.

So many of our guests said that they were a great band. We would definitely use them again. We could not have chosen a more exciting band. Each member of the band performs so powerfully, providing an amazing live performance.

Thank you for making the day even better!

Sam and Rich (7th August, Chichester)

We have just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for making our wedding evening so amazing.

We had a fantastic day and your band really made it special. You were professional, friendly and we couldn't have hoped for better music to dance to.

Everyone was raving about you the next day and many people thought you were the best band they have heard live - a compliment indeed!

We were so pleased we found you and would love to book you again if we ever have an excuse for another special party.

Thanks again,

Victoria and Matthew (12th August Suffolk)

Hi Mark,

I just wanted to send you an email to say a huge thank you to you guys for being such amazing entertainment at the wedding. Everyone commented on how amazing you guys were and that they couldn’t believe that lead singer was actually singing live – she was incredible.

Thanks again for all your help beforehand with the organisation, we had the best day/evening and you really helped to make it soo fantastic.

Thanks again,

Hi guys

You played at my wedding in Sept, boy were you amazing!!

EVERYONE danced and danced right until the end with protests for more tunes.

You guys rocked, couldn't recommend you enough :)

Dear Funky Buddha

We would like to say a huge thank you for the fantastic music you and the band provided for our wedding, it truly made it a very special occasion.

So many people have commented on the music and it was so nice to see so many people dancing all night. We hope you enjoyed the evening too.

Please pass on our thanks to rest of the band

Anna & Craig

Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU and let you know how much we loved having you as our wedding band. You really were outstanding and absolutely everyone loved you (people have asked for contact details so hopefully will be in contact with you soon!) from our first dance right through your music selection between sets and through to the very end. You even got people who never dance up on the dance floor-very impressive. We have go to say that I think your singer broke a few hearts throughout the evening including Emma's brother (one of the ushers who decided he was completely in love with her by the end of the evening!! The other ushers also fell for her but are unfortunately-or fortunately for her-married!)

Thank you so much for making our celebrations better than we had ever imagined. The whole evening was truly brilliant and we can only thank you for being such a huge part of it.

We will definitely contact you with any other parties we may decode to have as loads of people have commented on how much of a good time they had so therefore we feel pressure to keep up the trend of throwing the best parties!

We really hope that the caterers sorted your food out for you-apologies for the delay with it...we made it very clear to them that they had to sort you out with something decent.

You really were truly amazing and we wish we actually got to speak to you guys more as the whole day went far too quickly. We will be in touch in the future. Looking forward to partying again soon-please put us on any mailing lists for any live gigs you do.

Emma & Dan Sykes

Dear Funky Buddha Band,

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding 3rd September. We got back from our honeymoon with so many great memories of the day, thank you for be an amazing part of it.

The music was incredible, even better than we could possibly have imagined, and kept us dancing into the small hours. Everyone has commented how fantastic the band was and they enjoyed every moment.

Thank you for being so easy to work with and making our day such a success.

Thanks again and hope see you play soon.

Andy & Nicole Keightley

Having been back from our honeymoon a few days and the chance to reflect on our weddng day, Rachel and I wanted to thank you and the band for being such a fantastic part of the occasion. We have had such wonderful comments from the guests and in particular how much they enjoyed the band. I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to thank you in person on the night, but we both got completely carried away.

Could you please pass on our thanks to everyone else involved.

Kind regards

Neil & Rachel Sutton

Just wanted to say a really big thank you for playing our wedding on the 28th May 2010 at Rowton Castle. You were absolutely fantastic and really made our evening.

I had envisaged the evening to be one big party and that's exactly what we got thanks to you, from my dad playing air guitar to my cousin's 2 year old son having a bop at the front, everyone just wanted to dance!

The music was amazing, especially liked the mash ups that were thrown in. All the guests have raved ever since about how great you were (my brother-in-law asked on the day if I had booked the band specifically with him in mind he loved it that much)! Your professionalism was outstanding and the fact that you had to drive back to Brighton from Shrewsbury at 1:00am is a testament to that - not a journey I was in any fit state to make!

So thank you once again and I hope at some point to be able to get to see you play again.

Nicky Whale (nee Henderson)

I just wanted to say thank you very much for playing at our wedding on 6th March. You were all absolutely fantastic! And everyone thought you were brilliant! Elaine - thank you so much for playing the piano - it was perfect!

Thank you too for all the help organising all the music before the day. You made it all so easy for us.

I hope you enjoyed yourselves and please do let us know if you are ever playing in London.

With many thanks and very best wishes,

Hannah and Simon

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your wonderful music. Both Adam and myself were really excited about the band and you all were better than we hoped for! You got everyone dancing and our guests all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We didn't really have enough time on the day to tell you our appreciation but our guests have already started asking about the band and your contact details for upcoming events!

Thanks again!

Jo & Adam Watson

Funky Buddha Band - what can I say? They made the evening, not only for my clients who danced and danced and danced until we practically had to cut the power to get them off the dance floor and into bed, but also for me as I've never worked with such a great group of fabulous, easy-going musicians! Their playlist is superb, the sound they produce is huge, and I can thoroughly recommend them for your next party.

Emma Chesters, Director, EC Events Ltd

The Funky Buddha Band recently played at an event that we arranged for 1,400 guests and they went down a storm! They really helped to enhance the perfect party atmosphere and were a wonderfully professional band to work with, both in the run up to the event and on the night. We will definitely be booking them again for future events.

Nicky Allison, Progressive Events

Just wanted to say Thank you so much for providing such an outstanding show for us at our wedding; the music was fantastic and we’ve had so much positive feedback from our friends and family.

Louise Chadder, Wedding Client, Bournemouth

A fantastic band, makes us feel like we’re downstairs at Casablancas! (Famous Brighton funk/soul club)

To anyone thinking of booking the Funky Buddha Band: Don’t hesitate. The band is great. I have booked them for two parties and on both occasions they were intrinsic in making the events highly enjoyable occasions. They were efficient and professional when dealing with the booking, and exuberant and fun in the performance. Their choice of repertoire was great and they very quickly had everyone dancing. I very much hope to use them again in the future but am aware I will have to book them very far in advance.
