  • Excellent repertoire of modern songs, with a vintage twist such as Take Me Out and also some older songs such as Elvis' Hound Dog and even the odd TV theme
  • Perform as a four piece act and can add sax/trumpet to make a five piece


The band are based in London and frequently play throughout the city. They also gig frequently in the South and South West of England and will travel for events.

Standard Set Times

  • Either two 60 minute sets or three 40 minute sets, with 15 minute breaks.

About this Act

Dat Swing Thing are a London based modern jazz act made up of 4 excellent musicians. They offer a line-up of double bass, drums, electric guitar and female vocals and can tailor sets to suit your needs. They are versatile enough to be able to play chilled out background music or upbeat music to keep your guests dancing from the beginning to the end of their sets. They can do a bespoke arrangement of your favourite song, whether it's a first dance or a special song for your birthday. 

The band is made up of professional musicians who have played at the top venues around the UK such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Forum, The Jazz Café and with some of the world’s leading musicians.
