About the Band

Callanish are an energetic 5 piece band who have been providing entertainment at weddings, corporate functions, festivals and private parties for over 14 years, both in the UK and abroad. Consisting of vocals, guitar, bass, drums and fiddle, they produce a unique blend of traditional and contemporary music that promises to deliver a universal appeal at any event.

As full time musicians, they dedicate themselves to making sure every event exceeds all expectations. They offer ceilidh (with caller), and a vibrant mix of pop, rock ‘n’ roll, soul and even a touch of swing if the mood demands. They pride themselves on their professionalism, versatility and long standing reputation.

Previous gigs have been performing at the G8 summit and at the opening of the Scottish Parliament buildings in addition to many other corporate events and weddings.
